Known in the creative world as ShaZam, Sharon Hilyer Roll is a self-taught art alchemist whose work acts as a bridge between the organic and the infinite. With a background as an Orange County Master Gardener, and horticulturalist, Sharon’s eco-dyeing and nature inspired pieces are rooted in the earth, yet her soul is tuned to a higher frequency.
In 2000, studying to become a Yoga Instructor, a pivotal encounter with Ram Dass at the Omega Institute sparked a 20-year spiritual apprenticeship. Sharon’s journey with his teachings—and her own resilience during a 20-year battle with Lyme disease—is chronicled in her chapter of the e-book Remarkable Encounters with Ram Dass. During years of physical stillness, Sharon turned inward, merging Chaos Theory with deep spiritual practice to explore the nature of reality.
